  • I am a parent of a Fireside student. Do I have to do anything to join the PTO?
    No! All Fireside Elementary parents are a part of our PTO community.
  • When and where are PTO meetings held?
    All members of the Fireside community are welcome and encouraged to attend monthly PTO meetings, which are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Meetings alternate between mornings (9:10am - 10:30am) and evenings (5:30pm - 6:45pm) to accommodate all schedules. PTO Meeting dates, times, and locations can be found on the Fireside Elementary calendar and the website. Childcare is provided at evening meetings.
  • What does the PTO fund?
    The PTO funds many projects at Fireside, including: Additional Teaching Tools in the classrooms Buses for Field Trips Annual STEM Fair New Computers Playground Equipment Classroom Books & Supplies Para-Educator Positions & Additional Hours And more!
  • How can I become a member of the PTO Board?
    Board positions are typically filled in the spring so we are ready to go with leadership for the next school year. Here is the link to the application. Please contact our current Co-Chairs for more information.
  • I work full-time - can I still get involved with PTO events & activities?
    Yes! The PTO meetings vary from morning to evening times, and often many of our events and activities are in the evenings, with some on the weekends. You can always find a volunteer opportunity that works for you by clicking here. We love our volunteers!
