About Fireside PTO

The Fireside Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is made up of parents, teachers and our principal Pat Heinz-Pribyl (Ms. HP). We work together to provide a quality scholastic experience for all Fireside students and to make Fireside an excellent school for our community.

The PTO wishes to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students and their families for the upcoming school year.

The PTO uses family events and community activities to raise much-needed funds for Fireside. We do not ask our children to sell door-to-door. Please help us by supporting our events and activities. Your donations are always welcome, even if you cannot join us. The PTO funds many projects including: extra funding for additional teaching tools in the classrooms, busses for field trips, the annual science fair, new computers, and playground equipment, just to name a few.

PTO Decision-Making Process

All members of the Fireside community are welcome and encouraged to attend monthly PTO meetings. School needs and a budget for the upcoming school year are discussed and voted on by attendees. This is your chance to influence just how PTO funds are put to work in your child's school!

School Improvement Team (SIT)

Get involved in the School Improvement Team!  SIT meets once a month and is comprised of teachers and Fireside community members. SIT's goals range from improving educational achievement, making recommendations to the principal regarding the prioritization of expenditures of school money, and looking at safety issues related to the school environment. The SIT sign-up sheet will be located in the school lobby.
